Sacred Heart Saratoga – Pastoral Planning Process Our Parish Life  What happened in the life of the parish from May 2006 - May 2007?  Father Gary acted on the Transition team report and the strategic plan.  Requested that the current pastoral council remain in place for one year.  Infrastructure changes within six months.  Staffing additions/redefining positions to be responsive to parish needs  Established Summer 2006 open houses to build bridges and community.  More bridge building between school and Religious Ed.  Outreach to High School - Youth Group for teens begun.  Began discernment process for Pastoral Council.  Spiritual growth  Different style of liturgy - varied music, connect homilies to daily lives.  Addition of Sunday evening Mass to accommodate lifestyle of community.

Meet with five mission groups Set timeframe within two months  Staff will oversee five mission groups. develop three short term achievable goals Council will oversee these short term goals and hold staff accountable  Spring 2009 build new three-year strategic plan
