4 Physically impressive hero of national or historical importance. Vast settings involving not only much of the known world but also the Underworld. Action such as a quest or journey requiring superhuman ability and courage in search of something of value. Supernatural forces interest themselves in the action and intervene at times. The style is elevated, even ceremonial.

Narrative opens in media res, a literary technique where the narrative starts in the middle of the story instead of from its beginning.
