3 State Flower: Cherokee Rose  Named for Cherokee Indians  Blooms in early spring  White flower with large golden center

4 State Bird: Brown thrasher  Brown and black  Cousin of mockingbird

5 State Tree: Live oak  45-65 feet tall  Named for evergreen leaves  Grow in sandy soils

6 State crop:peanut  Not true nut  Belongs to pea family

7 State Fruit: peach  Fuzzy skins peach are light orange,yellow,red,white  3 inches across
