Monday, September 28 Sit in student-selected groups. Follow along with your group. Students should take individual notes and participate in the discussion. If you do not finish, this is NOT homework. We will discuss as a class tomorrow. By the end of tomorrow, you must declare which type of quiz you would like to take-Objective with no notes or Written with use of notes. Sign up on the podium. If you do not sign up, you will have to take whichever I have extra copies of.

Imitate relying on your knowledge of Beowulf, replace Priam with Hrothgar, Beowulf or Wiglaf and imitate the sentence. Sample Imitation Grendel’s Mother, the returning terror of Herot, slithered by the men, reached down, took in her mouth Hrothgar’s friend, and reignited the vengeance in the hero that killed her son.
