2 What In the World Is MSF? An international organization of doctors, journalists, and administrators created in 1971 in France.

3 Why is MSF So Amazing? They provide assistance in many ways in almost 60 countries to people in crisis. They call attention to people who are being severely neglected or abused. They operate independently from any type of government; they do not take sides in armed battles. They received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1999! Most of their funding comes from private donors.

5 MSF Brings Relief to Refugee Families Who Have Run For Their Lives From Fighting: Medical care in clinics and hospitals. Vaccinations for 10,000 children. Soap. Clean drinking water. Mosquito nets for 2,500 families to protect against malaria.
