Start - > run - > telnet [remote address] Start - > run - > telnet [remote address] [remote address] is the full address of the system you wish to connect to. To access miller telnet miller.cs.uwm.edu To access your alpha account telnet alphaR.csd.uwm.edu (replace R in alphaR with the first letter of your login name.) Commands. help – Lists all the commands for the system you are on. open [address] ex. ftp> open miller.cs.uwm.edu dir or ls - lists all directories/files. cd [directory] - to change directory on the remote machine. delete [filename] – to remove a file in the current remote directory.
