Basic system consisting incl. internal power supply, Call Manager CPU (CPU1), Cooling fan (1x), Plastic screw covers (one labelled), Empty slots closed with blind covers.
Auxiliary Power Supply unit APS2 used in two cases:
Redundancy mode: if internal PS fails, external APS2 takes over
Boost mode: systems with large number of power consuming terminals. APS2 provides the extra power ~ 330W
Redundant fan unit RFU: Optional backup fan runs in series with the primary fan. If one fan fails, the other still operates. Service staff can change fans before both have reached end of life. Fan speed control and fan failure supervision.
System extension with Applications CPU2 card, interfaces cards, system modules
CPU1 card hosts the Call Manager software providing business class telephony features. It performs call control, call-signaling, and media transcoding and conversion functions.
FXO and high density FXS card foreseen with release 2.0
System cables allowing direct cabling Aastra 400->building installation.
Fan-Out Panels (FOP) used for Aastra 470 systems with many corded terminals. High density interface cards > 8 interfaces can be patched using FOP’s.

Two card types with 1 or 2 interfaces
