8. Periodic Function and Period The graphs of the trig functions are periodic, meaning they repeat themselves every 180° or every 360°. We can find 0’s, maximum values, and minimum values easily. Since we know that sin 90° = 1, we also know that sin (90° + 360°k) = 1.
