2. All Year Groups Bella’s Annual Bhangra night was a huge success. It was the best one so far, from the red carpet arrival to the dance off at the end. A big thank you to the following: Blowing up balloons – Sean Neil, Connor McKay and Kristina Waddell Help throughout the whole night – Janitors, Ms McWaters, Ms Dadgoster, Mr Barlow, Ms Rashid, Ms Hemming, Ms Blanning, Mr Anderson, Ms Logan, Ms McCluskey, Ms Wilkie, Mr Scobie, Ms McWhinnie and Afnan Food Prep – Ms Dunnett and Ms Connelly Stage Set-up- Zain, Humza and Umer. And one last shout out to Maryam who donated all of the drinks and some food for the whole night and to Sana who provided the chocolate fountain. Also to Ms Johnston who kindly gave up her lunchtime everyday to guard the assembly hall doors to ensure that the dance performances were kept a surprise. We would also like to thank all of the food places that generously donated all of the food: Strawberry Garden, Chilli Cottage, Cafe Reesa, Lahore Kebab House, Diamond fruit shop, Delicious 2, Shandar and Khansa Shabir. Festive Theatre Trip ‘Peter Pan’ King’s Theatre Thursday, 18 th December (1pm) Tickets for Bellahouston Academy’s annual pantomime trip are now on sale for S1 & S2 only. As always the seats are the best in the house. Tickets cost £12 and can be paid for in instalments - £1 being the minimum deposit. These can be paid for during Intervals, Lunch Times or at the start of Drama lessons. All participants will receive free ice cream at the performance! Get your tickets now before they are released to the rest of the school. Don’t miss out!
