6 Business Rules Automatic numbering of key Entity ID’s LOT ID relates to a Product Special at the product level Transactions are stored as sales or return All I/O will be tracked using userid and timestamp for all tables

11 Entities Manufacturer – Maintains the Chocolate Café’s manufacturer information Inventory – Maintains the tie of data from the inventory to the manufacturers Product Type – Contains the actual inventory specifics Product Lot – This entity is to keep track of product lot data to ensure quality Transaction – Holds data from every transaction processed Transaction Type – Retains information on the actual types of transactions Sales Type – Used to reference the type of sale data to the transaction entity Security – To enforce user logon security to the database by the employees Employee – Repository for employee data to track database actions & security
