Cirque du Relay Relay’s theme We highly encourage you to come up with a team theme that relates to our overarching theme. –Examples: Music groups, genres, instruments, etc. –Come in costumes and decorate your team area!

Pacesetter Teams Awarded to teams before Relay and at the event. Top teams will receive great prizes at Relay! If you had 5+ members registered before New Years and currently have a full team, you still qualify! Next goal: teams that qualify now must have each team member raise $50 before the night of the event!

25 tents are available for the night of the event First 25 teams (must be full teams of 15 participants) can e-mail pennrelayrecruitment10@gmail.com to reserve a tent pennrelayrecruitment10@gmail.com $150 security deposit the night of the event (which will be returned when you return the tent) in addition to your PennCard Tents

Pre-Relay Team Fundraising Ideas Giant Beer Pong tournament on College Green Bike-a-thon Events with bars (as long as they’re registered through OFSA) Pledge team cooking/cleaning service Kickball tournament idea Guitar Hero tournament Movie night Bake sale outside of Smoke’s Date auctions Donation buckets at other events NOTIFY US OF YOUR IDEAS BEFORE SPRING BREAK

At Relay Fundraising Ideas Bench press contest On-site breakfast/ Late night meals Jail and bail Open mic Toilet sit Sports tournaments Relay Idol Tie-dye t-shirts Hole in one contest Candy/chocolate/baked goods Craft fairs Coin toss Massages Face painting Bingo Challenges with other teams “If I raise $xxx I will shave my head!”

More About On-Site Fundraising If you would like to fundraise at the event, contact us! Especially if you need: a table, electricity As soon as possible!! First come, first serve basis

Final Fundraising Info Teams whose members have each raised over $100 before 5:00 on March 5th (right before spring break!) will get t-shirts Teams who also notify us before spring break of a pre-Relay fundraiser they want to plan will also get t- shirts!

Important Info Next team captain’s meeting TBA Keep recruiting team members and raising money! Current statistics: Teams: 138 Participants: 945 Total fundraised: $23,046.29!!
