Analyze Similes Working with your Reading Group, write three examples of similes from “All Summer in a Day”. Include the line where the simile is found. Explain what each simile means. Example: The children run “like animals escaped from their caves.” (Line 152) The children feel like they have been trapped inside for so long because of the continuous rain. They are finally free to experience life as normal children, running and playing in the sunshine.
