2. The Strategy The strategy for MiKids is to allow agencies to create content for kids on the MiKids site and/or associate content they already host on their own sites. The new portal is currently IN- PROGRESS at w3.michigan.gov/kids, so take a look if you wish and send your suggestions or ideas to Michelle.

3. New Portal Some content has been associated from other sites, but for the most part, the left navigation is open for construction. Anyone who would like to add or associate content to this site is welcome- just ask Michelle to add you to the authors group.

4. Michigan Kids Portal 2008 Some Ideas… Reading category, list MI’s notable children’s books, include BLOGS for kids to discuss the books they’ve read on the list Allow kids to upload videos or graphics they have created, showcase them on the site. Develop puzzles, games, videos, etc…
