Digging up the Truth... in movies, books, pop culture, and the media. By Cassandra Darcy

A Few Good Men You want the truth? You want the truth ? You can’t handle the truth... What do you think he might have meant by this? Are there times when the truth is too hard to handle? My answer: Yes there is. Like when someone hates your Outfit they don’t want to tell you because It may be very hurtful to the person and the Cause and effect is you may lose a friend.

Liar ‘And the truth shall set you free...’ What are your thoughts about what this might mean, in the film and the Bible? I think this means that if you tell the truth you are free. You will start to feel free. Because telling the truth is helping you to freedom. So… TELL THE TRUTH

Current Affairs programs, entertainment news programs, and even the nightly news on TV, all depend on the ‘truth’ to keep going. Can you offer your opinion of ‘truth’ as it is seen in such nightly programs? Television is not always telling the truth. What I mean is. On ACA (A current affair) they might tell you about one side to the story from one person and happen to not put the other person’s side of view in. Example: Say Cassie and Rebecca were neighbours and they both wanted a new fence Cassie wanted pink and Rebecca wanted blue. They started to argue about what colour then Cassie sent in a video of herself saying that Rebecca didn’t want a fence but wasn’t going to pay and was arguing. That is a bit confusing, but still its true. Don’t always believe the television I don’t always believe the TV. Especially Ad’s. Ad’s say ‘ Try this new face cream it makes you look younger’ how do you know that it makes you look younger? No one comes to her house and shows you so I don’t believe it! BUT that’s my opinion.

Sorry this wasn’t a very long slide show. The point is I want you to realise that telling the truth is right. Lying is wrong!
