5 BP Short Term Bond Fund: Current Strategy and Positioning The portfolio is likely to maintain duration in the range of 0.8 to 1 year. Our portfolio may comprise of two major components viz. core and satellite. In core we are likely to have CPs of residual maturity of 1 year. In addition, in the satellite part we may take exposures in Bank CDs and NCDs with residual maturities of 2 to 3 years.
