3 On the front find your equation. Rewrite it so that it equals zero (0). 2. 2 minutes

4 Find the axis of symmetry of your parabola. 3. 3 minutes

5 Find the vertex of your parabola. 4. 3 minutes The vertex is on the vertical line which is your axis of symmetry!

6 Find the y-intercept of your parabola. 5. 3 minutes x = 0

7 Find the x-intercept(s) of your parabola, if they exist. 6. 6 minutes y= 0

8 Sketch a graph using the results from the previous slides on graph paper. 7. 4 minutes
