14 View To go to Overview or to Event Log click on “View” and from the drop down menu choose which view.

15 Configuration View Configuration View allows you to configure the Services, Users, System Settings, Advanced Settings and the Configuration Wizard.

16 Configuration View Under Services you have Management, Email Notification and SNMP Notification. Under Users you have Add New User, Modify User and Remove User.

17 Configuration View Under System Settings you have Date/Time, Host Interfaces, Network Interfaces and System Information. Under Advanced Settings you have Disk, Cache, Firmware and System Utilities.

18 Tools View Under Tools you have License Management, Reset Host Port, Rescan Disk Channels, Restore System Defaults and Clear Disk Metadata.

19 Wizards View Under Wizards you have Configuration Wizard and Provisioning Wizard.

20 System Overview The System Overview is a good place to check your system out. By clicking on any of the Radial buttons the screen below will change and fill in all the info based on the Radial button you selected. Since the Radial button for System has been selected the screen below gives the information about the system.

21 System Overview This time the Radial button for disks was selected and as you can see below is the output for all the disks in the system. You may have to use the scroll bar on the right to see all the disks. Installed disk drive information

22 System Overview This time the Radial button for Vdisks was selected and as you can see below is the output for all the Vdisks in the system. You may have to use the scroll bar on the right to see all the Vdisks.

23 Physical Overview Click on the Enclosure and you will get all the information on the hardware of the enclosure.

24 Physical Overview There are four views of the Physical Enclosure Front Graphical Front Tabular Rear Graphical Rear Tabular You have four tabs.

25 Physical Overview – Front Graphical In the Front Graphical view click on a disk drive, it will get outlined in blue, and you will get the information on the drive. To get back to the enclosure information click on the green circle with a check mark in it above the chassis ID which in this case is “0”.

26 Physical Overview – Front Tabular In the Front Tabular view click on a Radial button next to a disk drive, and you will get the information on the drive.

27 Physical Overview – Front Tabular We chose Disk-0.19 and here is the info regarding the drive.

28 Physical Overview – Rear Graphical In the Rear Graphical view you can click on any of the green circles with check marks in them to get the information on that specific FRU. In this case the default view is the chassis and it also tells you which chassis your on by the Number below the check mark

29 Physical Overview – Rear Graphical In this Rear Graphical view we clicked on the green circles with check mark which was on the power supply. Note the FRU has a light blue line around it to show you what you have chosen.

30 Physical Overview – Rear Tabular In the Rear Tabular view click on a Radial button next to a FRU, and you will get the information on the specific FRU.

33 Provisioning View Provisioning – This has a drop down menu that have many options to chose from. This is where to configure the Vdisks, Volumes, Hosts, Global Spares, Snapshots, delete schedules and Provisioning Wizard.

34 Provisioning Wizard – Step 1 Provisioning Wizard – You will have one of six step to complete this task – follow the info on the screens.

36 Provisioning Wizard – Step 3 Choose these three disks – Notice the blue outlines on the disks define the disks that have been chosen. Shows how much raw disk space will be available and how much space is used for parity in this RAID5

37 Provisioning Wizard – Step 4 Using the Provisioning Wizard only allows one volume by default. Can create or change later. Using the slide bar the volume size can be defined or the number can be typed in next to Volume size.

38 Provisioning Wizard – Step 5 Can assign the LUN to the Host ports in the Graphical view by clicking the check marks on or off. If mapping is to take place you must click on the Map box to have the LUN mapped.

39 Provisioning Wizard – Step 5 Can assign the LUN to the Host ports in the Tabular view by clicking the check marks on or off. If mapping is to take place you must click on the Map box to have the LUN mapped.

40 Provisioning Wizard – Step 6 All the information that was input using the Provisioning Wizard. This lets you verify everything is the way it should be. Once you have reviewed this screen and everything is correct click on Finish. Also, notice that the bar on the bottom turns blue as you go through the steps.

41 Provisioning Wizard – Step 6 This is the screen you will see once you click on the Finish button. This is the screen you will see once if you don’t have a valid configuration.

42 Provisioning Wizard – Completed Once you have completed the Wizard successfully – You click on your vdisk in the left column and it will give you must of the info regard the status.
