Monitoring duties for TA’s Computer lab ES 2.104: open 9am-11pm daily Monitored by a TA when open Monitoring duty split into slots: 2 hour slots from 11am-9pm 1 hour slots at other times Each TA has to monitor one slot per week Look out for email on how to sign up (FCFS) Suggest 3 possible slots when you sign up Monitoring responsibility until end of semester

2. Responsibilities Help new students with lab access information, printing, logging in Keep food and drinks out of the labs Report problems with computers, printers, people Report to work at least 5 minutes early

3. How to activate your account Go to https://netid.utdallas.edu (from another lab) and set up your netid/account and password. Note that URL has “https”.https://netid.utdallas.edu Wait 30 minutes for your account information to propagate to the servers. In the login screen, choose the domain to be “CAMPUS” and login with your userid and password.

4. Only CS-I students are allowed in this half of the lab during the following times: Section 1 - Monday, 2:50pm – 4:50pm Section 2 - Tuesday, 10:50am - 12:50pm Section 502 - Tuesday, 8:20pm - 10:20pm Section 3 - Wednesday, 11:40am – 2:00pm Section 501 - Wednesday, 4:50pm - 6:50pm Section 4 - Thursday, 12:50pm - 2:50pm Section 5 - Friday, 11:50am - 1:50pm
