Training & Other Qualification Need a collage degree or higher. Some departments require 1 or 2 coursework. 21 yrs or older 3 to 12 months of training.

Job Outlook Population growth is the main source of demand for police service Layoffs are rare Many opening will be when either people retire or leave the job

Earning The middle 50% earned between $38,850 and $64,940. People that work for government get about $46,620 If you work for state government you get about $57,270 If you like working in crime investigators your going to get about $45,930 to $81,490
