3. Water Summit The goal of the water summit is to develop suggestions and a plan of action to help solve the water crisis in the Middle East. You will need 3 people in your group: 1 person will be the researcher 1 person will complete the water summit sheet and present to the class during the closing 1 person will write a 5 paragraph essay about water issues and how to solve them 1 st paragraph – Introduction (Hook/Grabber, Background Info, Thesis) 2 nd paragraph – Discuss the water issues in the Middle East (provide quotes and cite sources) 3 rd paragraph – What is your groups suggestions for how to solve the water crisis 4 th paragraph – What would happen to the Middle East and world if people ignore this issue? 5 th paragraph – Conclusion (Summarize your essay, Do NOT begin with “In conclusion”)
