8. Michael Jackson The person I chose was Michael Jackson. I chose MJ because I believe he changed the music industry and he always stood up for what he believed in. Many people believe that MJ never had surgery to bleach his skin. They blamed it on his disease Vitiligo. While there are many controversies that question the reason he bleached his skin, he still proved that you can be the same person even if you are a different race. He showed people that everyone deserves to be equal and that they can be the same person no matter what race you are. He also produced many songs such as “Black or White” that showed his position on race. He was a very important man to society altogether.
