Overview Goals: 1. to enhance the students’ understanding of methodologies of story structure 2. support language arts initiatives and inspiring a renewed interest in reading and writing 3. template for innovative learning of narrative and story structure that can be customized by instructors to reach the goals set by English Language Arts Standards in the Curriculum.

Overview Students will produce a comic designed on 8.5x11 paper, cut and folded into 8-page mini comic. Project:

Antagonist: Historical Character What is the problem or main conflict? Historical situation What is the resolution to the problem? Superhero power used to resolve problem How does the story end?
