Lesson 3. Being a Hero After completing the lesson, students will be able to: 1. Explain what a hero is. 2. Describe and ask questions about a picture using the 5 Ws. (Who? What? Where? When? Why?) 3. Tell a story based on pictures using transitional words.

Complete the Storyboard You and your partner have the storyboard for a short animated film that is to be made. called "A hero". Unfortunately, some parts are missing. Working together, draw the missing scenes. You have parts 1, 3 and 5 (or 2, 4 and 6). You can describe the drawings, but you mustn't show them to your partner.

One day, a man suddenly fell onto the subway tracks in the subway station. The man lay on the tracks and the next subway train was approaching him. At that moment, a brave man ran onto the tracks and dragged the fallen man off the tracks. Then, the man saved the fallen man, and people gave him a big hand. Later, the brave man received an award from the police.
