WHAT IS THE ROLE THAT YOUR SYSTEM PLAYS IN THE HUMAN BODY. The nervous system makes every thing work, without it we would not be able to move function of think or on command move yourself Therefore if you did not have a nervous system (brain) you would not meet all nine characteristics of a living thing so you not be living.
5
Some people have found that using “non drug” methods including acupuncture and hypnosis but, some easier methods are to try not to get stressed as well as eating proper meals, exercising and getting a good sleep. MAINTAINING A HEALTHY NERVOUS SYSTEM
6
The nervous system is connected to other body system, for example two are: nervous systems' receptors are in the muscular systems' muscles which provide the brain information about the body position and movement, the brain controls, the contraction of skeletal muscle and the nervous system regulates the speed at which food moves the digestive tract (a tube that goes from your mouth to your anus). The nervous system’s brain monitors the respiratory system volume and blood gas levels, and the brain regulates the respiratory systems’ rate. HOW THE NERVOUS SYSTEM IS CONNECTED TO OTHER SYSTEMS
8
The brain and spinal cord work together by synapses( a junction between two nerve cells), that transmit signals that are either electrical or chemical. HOW THE MAJOR ORGANS IN THE NERVOUS SYSTEM WORK TOGETHER
9
One profession is a neurologist he study's the brain, if you suffer from diseases, and conditions seeing a neurologist may help you The neurologist helps you with the brain spinal cord and all of your nerves in your body. NAME AND DESCRIBE TWO PROFESSIONS
10
Psychology is another study of how the brain works and how it thinks as well as behavior and the psychology’s also helps people that have brain disorders or mental disorders. NAME AND DESCRIBE TWO PROFESSIONS

Brain: the brain controls the other organs, hormones and systems. Nervous tissue: The nerve cells (many make up nerve tissue) send electrical impulses through out the body, telling the rest of the body what to do. Nerve cell: the axon send electrical impulses while the dendrites (Which branches from the main part of the cell) receives them. LEVELS OF ORGANIZATION IN THE HUMAN BODY
14
When a part of your body falls asleep it is because of pressure being put on a nerve. Every day 27 Canadians get a brain tumour. There are more nerve cells in your brain than stars in the Milky-Way. If we lined up all the neurons in our body it would be 600 miles long. Without the nervous system you would not be able to dream. 5 Facts about the Nervous System
