The objectives of the cluster are: To outline the requirements of the annual Primary Science & Technology Challenge; To consider the design process; To list the materials and tools which may normally be provided during the competition; To demonstrate the use of a selection of the materials and tools.

Materials required for exercises 1 – 4 ( Buggy, Marble Run, Tower & Box) Card (various thickness), paper, correx (corriflute) Wooden jelutong 1cm square section Dowel rods to suit wheels Support triangles Axle mounts (various types)

Have a Go Have a Go Using the materials provided:- Level 1 - Design a buggy that will travel 5 m in a straight line; Level 2 - Design a buggy that is battery powered and which will travel 5 m in a straight line; Level 3 - Design a lorry with a lifting trailer and warning light that will travel 5 m in a straight line.
