3. Climate
In tropical rainforests the temperature between 23 – 27 degrees Celsius.
Rainfall is nearer to the equator. That is because there the sun evaporates the water quickly and builds heavy clouds faster then other places.
In these places, it rains about 260 inches of rain each year.
Dry seasons take about one month or more. During that time the trees shed their leaves ad it pretty much looks like winter.
Tropical rainforests don’t have strong seasons, it rains all the time and is sunny all the time there too.

4. Animals of the rainforests
Orangutan:
It is the largest of the great
apes. This animal lives in south
Asian forests, trees as their
home. It feeds on ripe fruits,
leaves and flowers. It has a strong
body, short legs and long arms,
it’s fur is reddish brown.

5. Golden Lion:
this animal is the size of a squirrel. It got it’s name from it’s golden silky fur and it’s large mane around it’s face. It is found around the brazil rain forests.

6. Monarch butterfly
The monarch butterfly is one of the poisons butterfly species. It feeds on milk, weeds and plants in the area. It appears to be beautiful and bight colored. It’s predator gets sick and dies if they it it.

7. Toco Toucan:
This type of animal Is found in the Amazon rainforests. It has a long colorful arches beak. Although it has wings it cannot fly well, but it is found of hopping around it’s habitat.

8. Plants of the Rainforest
Jambu:
This is a fruit that grows in the rainforests in India. It is a small tree with a large shrub which grows up to 20 feet high. To grow, it needs plenty of rain, it has to come evenly spaced each year. They are pink when they are still young flowers, but turn but turn dull green the older it gets.

9. Coconut tree:
The coconut tree is a symbol for peace and relaxation. The smallest of that type is called a Dwarf tree. But all of them have tall trunk that is grey. It has feather like leaves that are green in color. It’s leaves can grow feet long.

10. Bougainvillea This plant grows in the Amazon rainforests in south America. It likes to grow in a green areas so it could be able to clinch to other plants and climbs to the top of the rainforest to get sun shine. Bougainvillea Flower. Photograph.

11. Bengal Bamboo:
This is a type of bamboo that grows south east Asia, but it never grows one alone, it grows in patches. To live, Bengal bamboo needs a moist tropical environment to live in. it can grow from 40 – 80 feet high and the diameter of 5 inches. It’s trunk is green and has long narrow leaves.

12. Human Impacts
One of the most popular human impacts is burning down trees. People do that when they are out on picnics or camps. Often, it is done to burn trash but ends up burning the trees.
Another really popular impact is cutting trees down. That is done to build roads and other cement materials like houses.

13. Opinion
We think that what is being done to the tropical rainforests is really bad. That’s because these rainforests give us 40% of the world’s oxygen. It also contains more species of plants and animals then any where else in the world. Did you know that 25% of the world’s medicine comes from tropical rainforest plants. It also has some advantages to it, like we get oil and poor people get homes to live in. but it’s disadvantages are more then it’s advantages.
