MARCO – Ongoing Role? TAFM will change requirements around community outcomes –Less prescriptive (consultation, reporting) –Definition COs still around four well-beings & future generations MARCO indicators could be grouped into the four wellbeings MARCO website –could be integrated into the EW website –a 'data/indicator portal' as it is now, or perhaps simply a good practice tool/guide? The MARCO Perception Survey useful even without link to COs (survey collects info on 12 MARCO indicators). There will always be a need for good quality data & information Comparison of the data with other districts/regions is useful; benchmarking is important to demonstrate our value. Cost-effectiveness is imperative for councils

Next MARCO Meeting Friday 25 February 2011 To discuss the future of the MARCO indicators and any changes that may be required in response to TAFM and councils needs
