Junior League of Minneapolis Overview I felt uninformed about JLM happenings as a new member Background: JLM is an association of women who work to improve the community through volunteer projects JLM was founded in 1923 Almost 300 Junior Leagues in 4 countries

Methodology Survey to all 253 members Internet based: 27 questions Questions included: How they want information available Which topics they want covered in each communication

Results Survey open from Jan. 25-March 10, 2007 Response rate: 58% (147 of 253)

Recommendations Use electronic communications (Avoid print and phone calls) Transition print newsletter to e-newsletter Announce upcoming meetings and volunteer opportunities via web (Preference for 1 month notice and two reminders)
