NUTS AND BOLTS Ms. Garrison Spring, 2014
2
IN ORDER TO KEEP THE CHAOS AWAY, LET’S… Be kind to one another. Be respectful, especially to the lady in charge (that’s me!). Keep the place clean. Save the drama for your mama.

MS. GARRISON’S MUST-HAVES: If absent, check the Missing Work bin THEN ask me what else you need. No eating in class; only water in clear bottles Raise your hand to ask a question/make a response and WAIT to be called on Wait to throw trash away at the END of class or when Ms. Garrison isn’t talking Leave your ‘tude in your locker Be eager to participate

RULES MAKE THE WORLD GO ‘ROUND First and foremost, whatever Mr. Switzer says goes. Refer to your Student Handbook on the AK website. Be here, be on time, and be AWAKE. Keep cell phones on silent and put away. Make sure you do your own work. You don’t want to lose credit for bringing it in late, and you REALLY don’t want to lose credit for sharing work (that’s grounds for a referral too). Don’t ask to go to the bathroom unless you’re about to lose your breakfast or lunch or that aforementioned bottle of water. I don’t take kindly to lying and cheating, so don’t even try.

DAILY PROCEDURES Any work due needs to be turned in at the beginning of class ; after that = late. Almost daily, there will be a Catalyst for you to work on; you should do it without me telling you. Copy down the day’s objectives with your Catalyst; they are written on the white board. o Having the objectives in your notebook will help when studying for exams. o If you are absent one day and don’t have the Objectives, write “Absent” so I don’t count you off when I do Objectives checks. o If the Objectives are the same from the previous day, just write “Same as…” and put that date. If you turn work in late, write at the top “1 Day Late,” “2 Days Late,” etc. Check my Wiki everyday for any clarification of assignments and/or reading material or notes.Wiki
