8 Personification Giving human traits to inanimate objects, animals, or feelings. Example: “The sun smiled on the happy walkers”

9 Rhyme Repetition of the SAME sounds Example: hat and cat

10 Rhyme Scheme The pattern of end rhyme marked by letters Example: ABBA
