N APATA … South of Kerma. Located in land of Kush. Took over Egypt. 25 th Dynasty of Egyptian Pharaohs were Nubians. Built Pyramids for their Kings. Rule did not last long.(WEAK RULERS) Egypt pushed them back. Never again would they rule Egyptian Land.

M EROE … Located on Nile: Center of Empire Located between 5 th and 6 th cataracts. Stretched into Central Africa. East: Rocky desert. Iron Ore deposits.
