7 IPEC International Programme on the Elimination of Child Labour SIMPOC Statistical Information and Monitoring Programme on Child Labour Established in 1998 Statistical arm of the ILO’s International Programme on the Elimination of Child Labour (IPEC) Assists countries in collecting data on extent, characterististics and determinants of child labour Active in more than 70 countries More than 350 surveys to date; 80+ national household surveys on child labour Guided by ICLS Resolution
