Treatment Appendix 10

Front cover

What is your magazine called? Holla- because it is stereotypical or hip-hip and r&b subculture and sounds quirky.

What is your final masthead design? I chose this design because it is big, bold, thick and original against a contrasting background this is don’t to attract in the readers attention. Meanwhile the font fits in great with the hip-hop simplistic style and therefore draws puts focus on the cover model. I will have my font in either black or white depending on which I chose for the background, this is so there is juxtaposition.

What will be your cover image? I will use one of these studio style images I have pastiched and manipulated from my mood boards. I have chose these mid- shots because they're strong and quirky. Also these images will best describe my rebellious model, the article, theme and what suites the expectations and interest of my demographic audience. The colours worn by my model also fit in great with the house theme colours. I will use direct mode of address as if my model is looking at the audience, this is to make the reader feel more involved.
