1 January 24, 2011 1 Update to CCAQS PC Final Projects for CCOS & CRPAQS

2 January 24, 2011Update to CCAQS PC2 Studies in the region have been active for over 20 years. The rich database and large body of products from these studies have been used to effectively: –Provide a technical foundation for the SIPs; –Improve our understanding of the nature & cause of Central California ozone and PM air pollution; and –Improve the state-of-the-science. The final round of fundraising is completed. Thanks to all the stakeholders who have contributed to the success of CCOS and CRPAQS over many years! –Generous financial support from Federal-, State- and Local Government as well as Private Industry –Fundraising Teams –Technical and Policy Committee representatives To leverage from the previous work and complete the studies with a final round of support for the upcoming SIPs, today we’re presenting a proposed list of final projects for PC consideration. Recap of Study Progress
