Claim: Rick Ross constantly cobrands himself with well established figures. Data: As seen in “BMF,” commonly known as “Blowing Money Fast,” Ross brands himself as “Big Meech” and “Larry Hoover.” Demetrious “Big Meech” Flourney is a well known drug cartel leader from the Atlanta area. Larry Hoover, a drug mogul from Detroit is infamous for his lavish lifestyle and flashy lifestyle. Commentary: It’s obvious that Rick Ross is attempting to gain street credibility by just aligning himself with names and figures that are already respected. He assumes that if we like them, we’ll feel the same way about him. What a pity!
