What is Flash? An interactive development tool Used to create games, apps, animations, websites, and simulations (short movies) Can incorporate pictures, sound, video, and special effects Creates vector images Can be streamed

The Stage Contains all objects that are seen by the viewer in the final movie You can draw objects on or import objects to the stage

The Timeline Contains images within frames Units of the timeline Has separate layers Has a playback head

The Tools Panel Panels are used to view, organize, and modify objects and features in a movie Most commonly used: Tools Properties Libraries

Properties Panel Used to edit documents size, background color, speed and other settings

Document Settings Modify > Document CMD J Used to edit documents size, set ruler units, edit background color, speed and other settings
