+ The 5 P’s Be PROMPT You should always be on time to class Be PREPARED You should have the materials necessary for the day: pencil, paper, calculator, etc. Be POLITE Be kind and respectful to your classmates and to your teachers Be PRODUCTIVE Class time is work time Be PATIENT Wait your turn; not everything happens on your schedule

+ The Honor Code Because I want to do my best, I will be: Be honest! Be positive! And show respect for Staff Property And other classmates

+ Your Actions, Your Consequences Blame is not to be placed on others You are responsible for your choices Consequences that go with those choices are on you

+ Give me a high five! When in doubt, ask yourself these questions: Is it positive? Am I engaged? Is it respectful? Am I participating? Do I want the consequences for this?

+ What if I don’t know? The Golden Rule applies in my classroom: would you want someone to do that to you? If the answer is no, choose a different course of action. Be mindful of others.
