7  Responding to L’Aquila Initiative and in line with the 5 Rome Principles, the CIP was first Approved on 14 June 2010.  Coherent set of 12 strategic priority investment programmes  Aligned with the National Food Policy Plan of Action, to ensure comprehensiveness  Embedded in the Sixth Five Year Plan to ensure consistency  Focus on government investments included in the Annual Development Budget The CIP, based on extensive consultation, incorporates over 400 projects of which 154 ongoing (for US$ 2.8 billion) and 257 in pipeline (for US$ 5.06 billion of which US$ 3.4 billion are priority).
