These walls of water can cause widespread destruction when they crash ashore
Tsunamis race across the sea at up to 500 mph
Tsunamis often happen within the Pacific Oceans “ Ring of Fire”
These big waves are typically caused by undersea earthquakes

3. Tsunami Safety Tips Have an evacuation route ready.
Prepare a disaster supplies kit for your home and car. ( bottles of water, canned food, etc.)
Have instructions on how to turn off all electricity.
Follow all instructions issued by local authorities.
Have protective clothing because sometimes there are dangerous things in the ocean.
