Is Filming a physical or mental job? I think filming is both a physical and mental job. I think this because, working a camera is a physical job but you also have to use your brain to know how to work and maintain the camera while operating. Indoor or Outdoor? I believe filming can be an indoor and outdoor job depending on what you plan the record. Work time Work hours vary from every operator and director, though most work full time. Work environment Some camera operators work in uncomfortable or even dangerous conditions, such as severe weather, military conflicts, and natural disasters. They may have to stand for long periods waiting for an event to take place. They may carry heavy equipment.

Training Camera operators usually start out as an assistant for the camera department to learn how film production works. Qualification The most common requirement to being a camera operator is to have a bachelor’s degree. Where Do You Plan On Going? Many colleges offer courses in operating cameras. Employment Rate In broadcasting, job growth is expected to be slower than it used to be because automatic camera systems reduce the need for camera operators at many TV stations. Employment of film and video editors is projected to grow 5 percent from 2010 to 2020, slower than the average for all occupations. Where Do You Want To Find This Career’s Openings? In addition, drafters need skills from academic programs so that they may move into the work of designing directly for professionals such as engineers or architects. After researching this career, I am still mildly interested in this job. The one thing I will look forward to most is traveling around and being able to take such beautiful films of art. The most I criticize about this career is the pay. I learned that it takes a lot of training to become a professional a filmer. It will take a lot of work to become a professional filmer.
