Fulbright-Hays Seminars Abroad… Flagship international exchange program Designed to increase mutual understanding between the U.S. and other countries Administered by the U.S. Department of Education 4-6 week trips for 16 teachers in each of six or seven sessions 4 trips maximum Congress appropriates money with small contribution by teacher

Offers Landmarks of American History and Culture Workshops for K-12 teachers, librarians, homeschool parents One-week programs provide direct experiences in interpretation of significant historical and cultural sites Stipends are $1200 to help cover living expenses, books, and travel
