1 Mrs. McNickle’s Class 1.Unpack all your supplies and place them in your desk. 2.Place all information for me on the table- --NOT my desk. 3.Put your book bag in your cubby. 4.Begin working on the math worksheet and name scavenger hunt (look around the room for clues).

2  Note Card Activity  Rules  Listen when others are talking.  Follow directions.  Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.  Work quietly and do not disturb others.  Show respect for school and personal property.  Work and play in a safe manner.

3 Our School Day 7:20 am-Earliest drop off time 7:40 am-Students go to classroom 8:00 am-Instructional day begins 2:30 pm-Instructional day ends The school day begins at 8:00 am and ends at 2:30 pm. Tardy: If you arrive after 8:00 am, please park and come to the front office to sign your child into school. Sign Out: No student will be released after 2:00 pm. If you are absent from school, you must have a note from parents. You have three days to make up missed work.

10  Please don’t bring a drink. We will have water.  Bring something you can eat quick and that will not make a mess.  We will go to the bathroom at 10:05. You MUST go because I will not let you go later.

11 Say thank-you!! Be quiet when someone is talking. I will flip sticks, if necessary. I will also give out tickets.

13  Keep food away from your laptop.  Always have clean hands when using your laptop.  Protect the LCD display monitor. When you shut your laptop, make sure there are no small items, such as a pencil or small ear-phones, on the keyboard. These can damage the display screen when shut; the screen will scratch if the item is rough. Close the lid gently and holding from the middle. Closing the lid using only one side causes pressure on that hinge, and over time can cause it to bend and snap.  Hold and lift the computer by its base with two hands, not by its LCD display (the screen).  Plug in accessory devices into their proper slots.  Insert drives into their slots carefully and at the correct angle.  Don't leave your laptop in a car.  Look into getting a laptop bag. Many breaks happen because of laptops being dropped or bumped.
