After the surgery Charlie wasn’t immediately brilliant. It took time but he slowly learned, took in information, and became a genius. Although Charlie cant do what he used to, he still is able to show state of depressed emotion, and he still see’s people for who they really are, he is also able to recognize his past self “I walked into mrs. Kinnian’s class and sat in the back where I used to, when mrs. Kinnian saw me, she ran out of the room cring… I had really puuled a CHARLIE GORDON this time.”
