© Crown copyright 2008 Myths and legends Accept no substitutes … –Colin was explicitly told that ICT Diploma students do not need to do the ICT Functional Skills – and this was at a National Diploma conference –The school SLT lead for the Diploma hadn’t thought about Functional ICT but is running separate Functional mathematics and English classes –If kids are doing OCR National ICT and the Creative and Media Diploma we don’t need to do FS ICT –The other said we don’t need to enter the Diploma pupils for FS ICT assessment because they are doing ECDL…
