22.-24.09.20046th General COSMO Meeting --- Milano, Italy8 6.2: Running the Web Site Maintaining, updating (and mirroring) the Web Site –Greek server is down since March; Updates can only be done in Manno –A solution has to be found for that!!! –Many pages are rather old => need Contents Management Software tools for exchange within COSMO –Several tools are available: field_extra, MakeAOF, grIns –On the private pages of the Web: Software/Utilities

22.-24.09.20046th General COSMO Meeting --- Milano, Italy9 Documentations on the Web Operational Applications (Updated!) Research Applications (still nothing available) –Possible: LMK, LM_Z Planned Extensions: –Update histories of the programs –History of operational versions –Description of the Working Groups This all has to be updated regularly!!!

22.-24.09.20046th General COSMO Meeting --- Milano, Italy11 6.4: Operational coding of INT2LM Every now and then a miracle occurs Full INT2LM as test version available (int2lm_test_1.1: including GME2LM, IFS2LM, LM2LM) After testing phase it will be put to Version Control System and become operational software It will replace GME2LM
12
22.-24.09.20046th General COSMO Meeting --- Milano, Italy12 6.5: Oper. coding of Nesting Version The work packages of the last period could be fulfilled. –Install sequential version of the LM nesting scheme –Implementation of the nesting scheme to the latest LM version (3.9) Problems solved thereby: –Treatment of external parameters for the nest –Reproducibility for one-way nesting Remaining problems –Reproducibility for feedback-options –relaxation of boundary and external data into the nests Discussions about the future of this version are necessary
13
22.-24.09.20046th General COSMO Meeting --- Milano, Italy13 6.6: Grib related issues Work is going on in Zürich –Definition of a COSMO table of generating processes –Clean implementation of Grib Code –Definition of an external Grib table How to bring this work to official code?
