Strengthening of human capacities (1) Focus on the local trainings: Consider the results of monitoring visits New topics for the trainings? Approach and frequency Use of Sim Labs Feedback from the regions!

Strengthening of human capacities (2) Simulation Centers: Scenarios & manual development: –Finalizing check-lists for the scenarios, fine-tuning of the ‘playing’ of scenarios –Supporting training from supplier on software –Common meeting in Dec’13 Proceed with the first trainings!!! Visit of Swiss experts to Ivano-Frankivsk & Volyn, 18- 22.11.2013 Teams & facilities upgrade upon need Strategic planning in the regions; communication with national stakeholders

Management tools (1) Monitoring visits supported by MCHP consultant (preliminary dates): –4-8.11.2013, Volyn –2-6.12.2013, Vinnytsia BTN initiative – introductory trainings: –14-15.10.13 – Crimea (WHO) –1-4.11.13 – Vinnytsia (MCHP)

Management tools (2) The development of eHealth strategy in Volyn: follow up mission of Claudio Zaugg, 9-13.12.2013 The implementation of Perinatal registry in Crimea: G.Castro mission in 2014 Collaboration with MoH on eHealth strategy and specific tools (openMEDIS, registry)

Infrastructure Follow up the equipment use and maintenance Renovations: information from monitoring visits. Update from the teams about the plans!

Content development Follow up the approval of submitted documents. Afterwards, printing, dissemination & workshops in the regions. The development of e-learning manuals; use of manikins for video capturing. Development of the materials: brochure for parents, manual for NICU nurses, info materials for hospitals.

Dissemination (1) Scaling up and steering: Steering Committee meeting at MoH, February 2014. Preparation to the conference on simulation education. New issue of newsletter: focus on national stakeholders.

Dissemination (2) Collaboration WHO: BTN initiative in Crimea & Vinnytsia UNFPA, RCOG, National OBGYN Association: ToT on guideline adaptation, 6-8.12.2013 New Life project: Sim Labs, perinatal registry UNICEF: working groups on ANC, regionalization, communication training (?) World Bank: potential expertise in eHealth
