Family Letters starts tonight! kids are writing for a purpose sent home every other Friday PLEASE NEATLY PRINT YOUR RESPONSE Insect Reports for informative writing Journaling and free writing opportunities for narrative writing Specific writing activities each month

6. Spelling Spelling tests and the pretest for the following week will be administered every THURSDAY 15 words Three different spelling lists to differentiate for students. Letter reversals and capitals are marked wrong. Letter reversals are one point off. Capitals are 1/2 point off. Word work is done at school. Please practice spelling words at home! Graded tests, pretests, and next week’s list will be sent home on Fridays
