DUBLIN CASTLE Dublin Castle was founded in 1204 on the orders of King John, who wanted a fortress constructed for the administration of the city. It was completed and rebuilt many times, so all that remains of the original structure is Norman tower. By the early seventeenth century, the castle was completely developed by legislative courts, meetings of Parliament, viceroy residence and a camera. Magnificent state apartments were added in the eighteenth century and are still used for occasions.

Feast day which celebrates human life brought Catholicism to Ireland, but it is more than just a religious festival - the Irish Tourist Board put - St. Patrick's Day is a day everyone wants to be Irish! The tradition of parades and wild celebration did not originate in Ireland. First St. Patrick's Day celebration took place Charitable Irish Society of Boston, America in 1737. Today, festive parades are held all over the world and in Dublin, you can expect a packed program of events, including street theater, fireworks, music and exhibitions.).
