3 Valor noun boldness or determination in facing great danger, especially in battle; heroic courage or bravery The soldier won the Metal of Valor after pulling her comrades from the burning building.

4 Cleave Verb to cling or adhere The child cleaved to his father during the thunderstorm.

5 Dudgeon Noun The wooden handle of a dagger The bloody dudgeon was sticking out of the corpse.

6 Chamberlain Noun an official in charge of the living quarters of a member of the nobility The chamberlain made sure all of the details for the ceremony were ready.
