2 Climate of Yellowstone Park Yellowstone Park has a pretty wide range of numbers regarding the weather throughout the year. Since I want to visit in August, here are some of those numbers. Average Temperature: ~62°F Average Total Rainfall: ~1.37 in. Average Total Snowfall: 0 in.

3 How to get to Yellowstone If I went to Yellowstone National Park, I would want to drive there. I would drive there because I would pass many amazing places, and it would make the trip so much more meaningful. I would first rent an RV which I will use to drive to different locations, and I would also sleep in it to save money. The distance from my home to Yellowstone is about 2213 miles, which will take about 40+ hours, including rest stops and sleeping. For the RV, the cost comes to about $973.00 for 7 days and nights. Plus $100.00 for the Kitchen Tools set, and another $150 for two sets of bed-wear, and one spare.

4 Yellowstone Grand Canyon The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone is the primary geologic feature in the Canyon District It is roughly 20 miles long, measured from the Upper Falls to the Tower Fall area Depth is 800 to 1,200 ft.; width is 1,500 to 4,000 ft. About 13,000 years old
